    LEADWELL MCV-1300P - Fanuc-0MF - bat failure, no backups

    Hi all,

Could anyone kindly share a backup of this machine params, a sudden battery failure leaded to disaster and we have no backup to restore it.

I tried to search the forum, but was unable to find any files.

    Kind regards,
    Moura

I wish you luck that someone has a backup to share.
Possibly you have a hard copy from the OEM?
If not, it is not as painful as one might think to manually re-setup a machine.
The hardest part will be to reset the options. But if you happen to have the control data sheet that solves that item.
From there its relatively straight forward. Maybe 6 to 8 hours of gathering machine info and setting the parameters.

The truly time consuming part above and beyond the above, would be rebuilding the Conversational library if you even used that portion.

Hi, thank you for the reply.

I only have the schematic and the ladder in paper.
The machine was bought second hand, only yellow fanuc books and a pink one with schematic and ladder, nothin else.
The major problem is that i'm not very familiar with Fanuc, if it was Heidenhain would be much easier for me.
Already contacted Leadwell, but no answer so far.

    Regards,
    Moura

Having the ladder helps a bunch.
If you have a reasonable service company in your area that is familiar with Fanuc they should easily be able to get it back for you. A retrofiter may have a little more knowledge but wither should be able.
The ladder print out will allow them to see what timers are used if any to come up with values needed as well as some other PMC parameters used if any.
Options will take the longest and the rest is pretty straight forward. 75% of the parameter settings are going to be basic or even default values.

    I'll give it a try.

I've been taking some notes from ladder for D values.
    Starting with 81xx to 83xxx (Axis), then 6500 (Spindle ? ) ?

    Thank you.

Cant say for sure without seeing the ladder.
    But:
8100 is digital parameters for the 1st axis
8200 is digital parameters for the 2nd axis
    8300 3rd etc.
    6500 series is for spindle.
    On the NC side.

Not sure what the D values would represent in your case without seeing ladder but they are associated with the PMC side as PMC parameters.

    Almost...
    Just ATC killing my head...
No macros, it's all via the ladder.
Funny is at MDI it starts the change, but on Auto... no go, reads the line but no action happens...
ATC will be out of service, what do you recommend ?
    240=6 then create O9001 with M99 only ?
IDK if 240 has precedence related to Ladder...
    Maybe not.
Will it work if i put D447 = 1 and use only T1 ? not tested yet...
Maybe D447 gets lost at power down ?
Tomorrow I'll moke some more tests.

Hello, i hope you're still about the forum. I have the same problem as you. MCV1300P. NC Param, DGN PRM and Prg's are loaded but i get ATC alarm. Like macro is missing but i think the ATC is controlled by ladder and dgn only. Can you please advice how you fixed?

    Cheers
