Hey, new to this forum and would appreciate some help...
I bought a used CNC, Platform CNC by Grunblau about a month ago. The anti-backlash nut's collar was unscrewed on one side when I bought it so I figured out how to tighten it back on. CNC was working great with mach4, made several cuts with it over the past few weeks.
This evening the Y-Axis started cutting out of sync with MACH4 during a cut so I stopped it. Then I tried to jog it and nothing happened. I lifted up the spoil board to find both anti-backlash nuts slipped and I have no clue why this happened or how to fix it.
I hand threaded them a little and the machine jogs fine. There hasn't been any binding or weird noises/shakes prior to this.....It was working great and then it wasn't?
How can I fix this so it doesn't happen again?
I'm attaching pictures and any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm really new to CNC and want to get back at it!!
Thanks for any help,
Andrew
