I'm looking for FAPT LADDER as below part number;
A08B-9201-J501 and A08B-9201-J502

I want to edit a ladder on FANUC 18m control,

What series of 18?

The 18A uses an Eprom to store the ladder and you would also need a reader to read and then re-burn an Eprom. The 18B and 18i series went to flash rom.
If it is an i series the onboard edit function may be available depending on what options are included in the control (c language).
In addition to fapt ladder there is an edit card (PMCIA card) that can be used to edit ladders on the B and i series.

There is a PCMCIA card slot on the motherboard, but I need S-RAM to backup the ladder, which is not available to me.
I want to do this through I/O SCREEN and RS232 port.

The version software you are requesting is very old. If memory serves it requires DOS. It may run on an XP machine as long as it has DOS emulation. I don't know if any of the DOS emulators will work for this either.
Hopefully someone else may be able to add more to aid you.

If you happen to have an older PC that has DOS or runs the older software hold on to it as its gold in supporting these older controls.

What exactly is it that you need to do to your (18M? as in MA?)? If you need ladder work done, you will need to get the ROM read into the PMC software using a PC Writer (V2) with a 1M Rom adapter on it. I am set up for this, including the software (PMC RA1/RA2)
After you get a copy of the original ladder, you have a few more options - you could buy the Ladder Editor Module and install it in your CNC, this way modifying the ladder on the CNC Monitor.

you can use FANUC PMC EPROM CONVERT TOOL to modfily it , it's easy , you can use it with any EPROM Reader/Writer , not need FANUC FA/PMC Reader/Writer.
