Questions on Win7 and Mach 3

Hello. I'm trying to use my old Mach 3 xml file on a newer Win7 computer with SP1. I"m using the same LPT printer card/cable which worked before. My Mach 3 and Gecko 540 setup is working as recommended. But when I connect the LPT cable nothing works as it should. I sometimes get a BSOD when I close mach 3. I also get a BSOD when I try to use the Utility for checking the OS frequency. Are there some specific MS run-times I might need? I'm wondering if my LPT pci card might be bad.

Is it a 64-bit OS? Mach3's parallel port function needs a 32-bit OS, and won't work with 64.

Hi, Andrew. Yes, it's Win7 X86. But thanks. I'm going to get another LPT card, with driver, and see what happens. Yet another delay when I need to get this up and running asap.
