    To Okuma Corporation

    Hello

The pulse handle system in double columns is not. useful. Cable is short and pendant arm very heavy. A remote control pulse handle with a 5 inch
screen would be better. Of course CE regulations will change. Regulations also should be changed. It is not a boarder.

hy is it worth it, if you replace it with a longer cable ? what table size is your mcr ?

on your phone, you could use an app that shows osp screen; some persons use a tablet ( because it has a bigger scrren ), that is conected via teamviewer

you could also consider a case for it, so to protect it from chips

if you wish to go remote, then you can configure an app on the osp, that takes input from tablet, via teamviewer, and passes it to the controller; api, or without it

if you wish, i can help you / kindly

Thank you for valuable input, Mr. MCR-B II. I guess, you are new to this field.
Okuma will drop the design philosophy and follow your advice instantly. The old machines will be retrofited. Is that OK with you?

If you have a schema or the ability to probe the signals from your remote dongle. A spliced in remote device could be made that directly manipulates the signals in parallell with the current pulse remote.
This can be made with a cheap Arm M0 and a small Point to point sender / receiver of "some sort".. bluetooth or radio or IR..

PM me if you wanna discuss this route - i can make it prob. but will need some more info.
