    Reset part counter

Greetings, I am looking for some guidance I have a fanuc series Oi-TD machine. Where I need to implement a counter for finished pieces. But this counter I need it to reset at an specific hour. How can I do this using PMC? Or what is the best way to do it?

    Re: Reset part counter

Look at the operators manual under "Parts Count Display, Run Time Display". Depending on what exactly you are tying to accomplish this may suffice.
You could also create your own counter using macro variables and a sub to increment, reset, or preset it whenever you choose.

I’m not sure there is a parameter that contains the current time of the machine

For a 0i-TD, parameter 6710-6752 contains integer values of the count of machine parts along with operation time. If you’re able to use those parameters in your G code you might be able to make something work
