Hello Everyone,

I have a Chinese CNC cutting machine with a Panasonic servo driver and motor
Servo driver model: MBDJT2210
Servo motor Model : MHMJ042P1S

the Y-axis moves only in the left direction even I move it manually from the control unit when I press the keyboard right key the motor move to the left (and the left key work properly to the left)

I have changed the control unit and the same problem occurred
and all the settings on the controller are correct

please help what is causing this problem

Check which key is programmed to move axis right the right. This is normally programmable

You could use the MDI screen and issue the following commands

G1 x1 F20 This should move axis to the right one unit

G1 x-1 F20. This should move it to the left two units

If these work it is clearly a key programming issue

What software you have, check if mapping is correct. Or connect x axis controller to y and see if it behave the same. It will help if know what software you are using.

The key is normally programmed,
the key is working right to the right sometimes and then suddenly turning to move to the left!!!!

Hi,
I suspect that your wiring from the breakout board to the servo drive is somehow faulty. It sounds like the servo drive is NOT getting the correct Direction Signal.
It may be that you have a pull-up resistor when you require a pull-down resistor or similar.

There are two ways to correct this:
1- Change parameter on the CNC controller
2- Change parameter on the servo driver.
