Hi folks , I need to move out of my old workshop and into a new ,and warmer one ! And I need to remove the Z Axis Fanuc motor on top , a damn heavy piece of metal ( it dont fit under the door frame . I did this when I bought it 15 years ago and cant think how the hell I did it ! Is it just the 4 screws ,bolts , out and supprt the spindle, lift and crack it off the shaft ? I thought I would ask a grown up before I do the other thing ! All the best stay safe all you lot , Harry

..most likely has a Flex Coupler from motor to ball screw. Finger type

Hi there ,that was ther first clue the second was from Carrie at Repair Zone ,and this is what I found !! 12 of the smallest screws painted over and hiding a thin metal cover !
