Question Running a program through memory card/Laptop

We are having an old Doosan DNM 500 CNC Mill. We would like to run a program directly from a memory card or from a laptop as this CNC machine is not having enough memory. Can anyone please advise how to run a program directly from a memory card and also from a laptop?

    Hello,

The key question is what control the machine has. I saw on the net this type of machine for sale with Fanuc 32-iMB CNC Control. The next question is whether this control has the DNC protocol, and if so, you purchased it with this or possibly want to purchase it with the software that should work on the Notebook. If this is not the case, Novum has already solved many of such impossible-looking tasks, contact them, I am seeing their ad right now.

OK, to run from Memory card is easy.
On the card, the program should be "O1000" with NO file extensions.
Program on the card should have a "%" above the O1000 and a "%" below the M30.
On the CNC control, the program should be "Oxxxx"; then a "M198 P1000" then a "M30"

    I/O channel should be "4"

Some people have different programs on the card for different tools so is easier to restart.
