I'm looking at the name plate for a servo drive A06B-6096-H106 (SVM1-130). I'm confused over the ratings on this amp. The descriptions manual shows the nominal current limit to be 130 amps. The rated output is 52.2 amps. Now I'm getting old, and this is probably an issue with some deceased brain cells, but isn't the nominal current supposed to be the general operating range and the rated current the maximum? I always thought that the nominal current should show equal to or less then the rated current. The chart shows the nominal current as Ap, which I take it to mean the peak amps. The rated current has Arms, which I take to be the normal running current. This seams backwards.
