Hello everyone,

I want to get into CNC cutting, I was planning to buy a table from China and a plasma, hypertherm locally.
Underwhelming feedback from suppliers and general negativity towards Chinese manufacturers have steered me away from this.

I have now decided to build the table myself, this would be a heavy 3m length table with steel frame and gantry.
The last couple of weeks of research gave me a rough direction but I need someone with experience to Design the machine, do the maths etc and provide the drawing (can be a modified existing design)

I figured here was the best place to acquire help for this Job.

Would like to agree a fixed price for the work, anyone interested?

Where are you located?

If it were me, I would buy a used machine and upgrade the controls and make any mechanical repairs needed. That way all the hard (and expensive) work is already done, the controls are the easy part.

I live in Belgium. I have looked at second hand machines but couldn't find anything fitting to my needs.
