I'm used to doing this in SolidWorks, but since they got rid of online licensing I can't use my work license at home any longer. I'm trying to do it in BobCAD, but I'm not sure how to do it. I need to move individual parts from a multi part assembly into an orientation that I can machine them all at the same time. I'm attaching a picture of what I'm starting with and what I normally end up with in SolidWorks. I would like to be able to click on an edge and align(mate) the part to an axis or another edge, but I don't see any way to do it. In solidworks I would save the parts individually, then make a new assembly with them and move them to the position I want them in, it's easy to mate edges to axis' or other edges. I can't find any tutorials on how to do this so far so I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction or show me how, if it is possible that is!
Thanks!
Mike
