Thump from Motor when Powering On

Hello... I have a Avid Pro 60120 and in the past 24 hours I've noticed a loud thump from the Y2 motor when I power on the NEMA 34 Control box... Not sure what is causing this but concerned that it wasn't happening before. Any thing I need to check? Thanks!

Some steppers do that when energized. Nothing to worry about.

Mine does this as well. I think of it as the motor's way of telling me that they are ready to do their thing. You only need to worry if you hear that thump in the middle of the night.

The stepper fairies waking up... If you aren't there to keep them in check things can turn ugly pretty quick.
