    100 Watt laser tube beam dia.

    I am upgrading my OM Tech 60W laser with a beam dia. 2.5mm to 100W tube. My question is I am seeing two different beam dia. 2.5mm and 4.5mm which beam dia. is the better ?

    The 100w tube will produce one beam of about 4.5mm.

    I have seen 100W laser tube manufacturers offer a 2.5mm beam dia. and a 4.5mm beam dia.
    What beam diameter is better?
