Anyone ever DIY optics PM on a Fanuc C2000??

Just took over responsibility for PM on a 2010 CO2 CNC Laser with a Fanuc C2000 - it's coming due for an optics change.

The prices from the OEM and Fanuc are substantial.

    Parts are easy to find..

We have the factory service manual on the oscillator - seems straightforward, but as with anything, there is some art to theses things.

    Anyone DIY these optics change-out??

    TIA

    I've pretty much rebuild a c2000c resonator.
The newer e series manuals have much better translations for the instructions, the ones I have on paper hurt my brain at times. Most of its pretty straightforward. Biggest tip is doing the rear mirror and output coupler, draw a vacuum on the system to pull the optics into place before tightening the ring. I chased my tail for a week trying to align the mirrors because they'd shift after a day or so and ruin the mode. There's a ton of good info on the eng-tips laser forum.

Awesome - thanks for the info - eng-tps most especially, knew there must be a place, just hadn't found it yet.
