Re: Setting up first axis step/dir on KFLOP/KANALOG - No 'C'-experience

can i use bit 152 -159 for the enable ?
That depends on the enable input requirements of the Drive. Those outputs switch to GND.

about 5V kanalog light is on,
    I use JP11 GND when i measure
    Was the screw tight?

    It is Plasma cutting machine
For Z Axis i use the proximity sensors to get its right position for cutting. It have its owen limit switch
Can you move the Z axis in a smooth controlled manner using Console Screen DAC commands?

Yes i checked and it have above three terminal connections for 5V outputs
    All are the same

no when i connected the enable it run very fast i measure the enable voltage it was 10V but the driver is microspeed (it's mark) and the
When i check the motor it was not running it is permanent magnet type it was sitting for long time i dismantled it cleaned and then it works
I checked by 1.5V battery connecting on the driver

I did connected with kanalog the motor run by small noise voltage i measured it around 30mV

Re: Setting up first axis step/dir on KFLOP/KANALOG - No 'C'-experience

    Hi Tom

My family lives in Addis Ababa. I went to them for two days for family matter.
Now I understand something as I told you, for now no need of c program.

You know Tom I thinking on that Enable if it can’t stop what will be next ?
I checked before the motor Amplifier enable Connect it directly outside from kanalog, motor was Moving a little then when I click move in step response screen it goes about 500mm Quickly, it will return slowly

Servo only stops for what is directly connected directly amplifier enable without breaking it.

When I click Zero and Enable , it does not change the movement

After I use to enable Digital IO if I get the same result What can I do?

Tomorrow on this time I will send you the results of each of these steps.
If you respond as soon as you can , it help me a lot for further work

    regards

I asked you multiple times to perform these steps but you never respond.

Ch0 is not counting it is 0
    The encoder is OMRON E6B2-CWZ1X
Depending on the manual VDC is 5VDC (+_ 5%)
I use external power supply an i measure the voltage on the input to the encoder ( brown and blue ) 4.5 VDC is what i gave to the encoder
But it must be between 4.75VDC - 5.25VDC
Is this will be the problem

I use JP13 for Amplifier Enable connection
I can control fron Digital IO

    Thanks

For Encoders i use 5VDC charger for each as a power supply

Still CH0 when it move on Axis Screen Dest it change from 0 to some digit, on position 0

I did each step for both Channels, Ch1 looks fine
In step response screen when i move Ch1 it move and back. I think it is the right way
The problem is Ch0 i think the encoder is not working

And I use as you told me Digital IO it works fine

Step #1 asks you to check the Axis Screen. Don't do the next step if the previous step doesn't work.

On Axis Screen CH0 read 0
When i click move in Step Response Screen it move and stop, Red line didn't change and in Axis Screen on the same time ( Dust ) some digit count for microseconds ( not visible ) but on the same Screen Position didn't change it is 0

Ch1 did different when click move it move forward and move back on Axis Screen it count just look like meaning full counting for me relatively

So the CH0 Encoder isn't working. Where is it wired to?

The Wiring and Configuration seems correct.

When you move CH0 Encoder (by hand) do IO bits 0 and 1 both toggle on the Digital IO Screen?

I didn't check in this way
In Digital IO Screen Kflop or Kanalog ?
I can do tomorrow now the time is here the midle of the night. I can't do further because of that problem.

Today i spent my time making copy of circuit board that control the plasma generator.
