The machine have two similar dc servo When i checked by Pot both act the same
    I checked the voltages

    Hi Andualem,

Driver was enabled green led ON when I tried by Pot
Try again. If it doesn't work the Drive must be bad.

On the driver +DT & -DT encoder was connected originally
Those are Tachometer inputs not encoder inputs. You aren't answering my questions.

    Omron E6B2-cwzix
    Rotary encoder ( incremental)
    Resolution 1000 p/r
    Search for specifications and manual.

About Analog tachometer it count revolutions per minute igital encoder have out out put binary code for exact position
    Search for specifications and manual.[/QUOTE]
    I search on that

    Thanks Tom

Re: Setting up first axis step/dir on KFLOP/KANALOG - No 'C'-experience

    Hi Tom

Some one imported this machine from Europe sell to the owner as brand new

Technician before me made many problem when they tray to fix ( they didn't know the problem it becomes worst)

You know it's difficult to get kflop and kanalog here
That's why I have to figure out everything before I plug
Depending on driver pdf when I connect pin6 and pin8 ( the motor moves ) predisposition

    But when I use POT no movement ( when I did this I disconnected 6 & 8)
I can't get any other information about the driver it is old

    I need serious support

    Please Tom
    I need support
    just keep it

I think 6 and 8 must be connected for the Drive to be enabled and the POT to cause motor motion.

    Thanks Tom
I will go tomorrow night it is above 200km far
    To try again

I prepared kflop and kanalog to replace the old controller
I can send to you kflop & kanalog connection photo tomorrow morning ( here now the time is middle night)

    Thanks
You know Tom It's good opportunity for me to learn in the other hand for the company It's a necessary they invest what they have on that
The machine cost here is very expensive

If you have some advice please tell me

    Hi Tom

On that pdf ( attached ) it says encoder,
    Did you see?

    Hi Tom

    Thanks your right
I figure out the wiring starting from your information
I get tachometer connection inside servo motor
So I connect with driver +/- DT
The incoder was wired wrong and cutted inside the machine
I start making wiring between encoder and kanalog
The encoder connection wire is when I refer pdf it have 3 ( A, B & Z ) reverse phase and 3 not reverse out put and 0V , 5V and Gnd
So I think kanalog haven't 5V out so I think I have to use external power supply
And from the 3 phase z is the full square signal
    A and B inputs

    Kanalog JP1 and JP2 encoder inputs are A and B So if I use only A & B, is that okay ?

I can attach the connection schematic to get suggestions
As a beginner I have to get some guidance

    Thank you

    Hi Tom

This is what I try to make the wiring
I have to edit limit switches connection
I read on dynamotion book connection in parallel each axis

And I need some initial points how I start make tread

Is that possible to make new thread without connecting motor and driver

    Hi Andualem,

Sorry I don't understand most of that.

    Kanalog JP1 and JP2 encoder inputs are A and B So if I use only A & B, is that okay ?
Yes if you don't need the Z index pulse it doesn't need to be connected.

Re: Setting up first axis step/dir on KFLOP/KANALOG - No 'C'-experience

    Hi Tom

    First I thank you
I make the connection I use external 5 V for the encoder

I finished the wiring for two axis
Now I start working on software
    I install Kmotion 4.33
I start reading about c programming
    I use kanalog
    To make the thread
    What are the steps?

I want to show you my schematic but I can't attach here

I want to make with understanding step by step

i try to write init.c but I'm not sure before this i suspect i have to do other things

i need to know steps from the first i will study after that

i use Kenalog JP1 encoder input
JP11 out put for the +REF and -REF
    JP15 for Limit switch

I make the connection I use external 5 V for the encoder
You might have used the +5V from Kanalog.

    I install Kmotion 4.33
Please use the later Test Version 4.35f

    To make the thread
    What are the steps?
Not clear what you mean. First get the axis to work.

I want to show you my schematic but I can't attach here
    Why not?

    Please read the steps here.

Re: Setting up first axis step/dir on KFLOP/KANALOG - No 'C'-experience

You might have used the +5V from Kanalog

I connect 5V and 12V only on kflop
Kanalog JP 8 when I measure 5V out I can't get ( when I check the voltage I didn't load any program in Kmotion )

Is their any input supply voltage on Kanalog?

OK thanks I can change with 4.35

Not clear what you mean. First get the axis to work.

I was confused, after I make the wiring I load init.c and
Configuration I tray to move . It was not clear for me

I get some hints from your attach
    I didn't load KanaloginitialPID.mot, I have to do that

    Why not?

When I attached before their was attach option in this page now their is no option

    Regards
