    Hi Tom

I attach the wiring, this my last wiring if you have any comment

I try to make clear some components, when i did trace wiring on the machine i use the same page in protel 99

I think yourPWM ON is wired backwards. OP (GND) should be connected to the - side of the opto.

Not sure why you don't measure 5V. Is the 5V power supply on? Is Kanalog connect to KFLOP? Note if a terminal screw is not tight you can not probe with a meter on the screw.

    HI Tom

    I install kmotion 435f

as i understand load KanalogInitialPID.mot is the first step

configuration & flash screen then load channel

i have seen the program, is their any that i have to edit
like limit switch bit and any other

if i'm right what are the next steps ?

Yes. Don’t worry about limit switches now. Follow the steps here.

    PWN connect to positive
Op (GND) connect to negative ( is this connection wrong ?)

I said I measure the voltage but no 5 V

Which 5V supply must be on? ( kanalog have power supply connection ?)

5V and 12V power supply is connected on kflop
I connect kflop and kanalog ( data cable and rj45 )

    Hi Tom

I attach the kanalog connection pictures
The enable pin when I connect 6 and 8 the motor moves afew inches then green light becomes off

I changed 6 to 5 it didn't moves green light keeps on

Then I load kanalogInitialPID.mot in configuration screen then I go to step Response screen I select each axis and press move only command and output response but position the red line is flat

    I'm confused on the drivers
Depending on the manual 5,6 and 7 are connected with switch it didn't say anything about enabling

The link that you attached before ( steps ) I can't access

What shall I do if you have some thing to show me the way

    This are the drivers

I read I can check or test Analog Amplifier by connecting 1.5V in series connected 1K Ohm

I did even that with connecting those pin 6 & 8and without connecting
And after I change 6 to 5 ( REF ON ) the motor is not turning

    Hi Tom

I know I ask so many things and I use poor language
I hope you understand. I straggle with this machine above two months alone

This cnczone.com is the only way to get some support

Today the fault that I fix makes me confused above three weeks, it was tachogenerator line was cutted inside the machine that was the cause the servo run faster and stop and also green LED off

After I fix when I connect with kanalog it run slower and when I swap terminals ( + REF & -REF ) it run in the other direction

    Thanks

    Now I face the software
I downloaded new version but window xp can't allow to install so I keep work on the Kmotion that I installed

Can you support me what I'm going to do just steps I will figure out the details

Here is the corrected link, but it seems you already found it.

Perform the steps there and post the results.

If those are successful then perform a Move on the Step Response Screen and post the Step Reponse Screen, Config Screen, and IIR Filters screen here.

    Hi Tom

When I connect Amplifier with kanalog (+Ref and -Ref ) servo run slowly that cause by noise I think how can I fix ?

And I load KanaloginitialPID.mot when I push move in step response screen only one axis move ( the axis connect JP11 pin 1 ) also in this case I change Gain to -1 the direction didn't change

On Step Response screen andiir filters screen get like

Re: Setting up first axis step/dir on KFLOP/KANALOG - No 'C'-experience

And I saw your note about how can test if kflop control the X motor speed and Test if kflop can know the encoder position after wired DAC0 wired X motor amplifier,
What is that DAC0 please make it clear?

Is there other c program that I have to load ( before I load KanaloginitialPID.mot, I think their must be )
I try to load init.c program and compile after I edit inti3Analog.c and I load again KanaloginitialPID.mot the same thing happens

I have no Idea which how many c program I have load. I try to look the c programs I understand some what is written in that

But I'm confused on where I can specify the input output ( it means Kmotion.exe have to know the hardware )

Please try to make clear for me I'm new for this and even I haven't seen before

I feel I did fine the wiring after that I install Kmotion.exe then I stop

I did the initial setup for each axis that is what I get I attach pictures ( print screen on xp disturb me that is why I send by photo )
Is their any thing that I have to do before that?

Re: Setting up first axis step/dir on KFLOP/KANALOG - No 'C'-experience

You don't seem to be following recommended steps. Post the results from every step. Work with one axis at a time.

    Initial Setup/Testing for Analog Amplifiers

    1. There is a starting configuration for KFLOP+Kanalog called KanalogInitialPID.mot in the \KMotion\Motors folder. Load it into an axis channel from the KMotion Configuration Screen. The basic first steps are to verify the hardware:
    2. check the encoder counts correctly as shown on the KMotion Axis Screen Position (a KFLOP Axis must be configured as Encoder Input with the Input Channel0 set to the channel where the encoder is physically connected)
    3. check that the DACs can command the Amplifier to control motor speed. Test Console commands like DAC0=200 to Output ~ -1V (with the axis disabled - if any axis is enabled and continuously writing to the DAC any Console Command will be overwritten)
    4. If steps #1 and #2 above work correctly, enable the Servo using the Step Response Screen. Zero, Enable. The motor should then attempt to weakly hold position.

Re: Setting up first axis step/dir on KFLOP/KANALOG - No 'C'-experience

    That was what I did
I load KanaloginitialPID.mot from Kmotion motors by configuration screen load chanel

Then I go to step response then move

Their is something that makes me confused

Load KanaloginitialPID.mot without locating the i/o will not impossible do

Now the Time here is midle of night I spent above 12 hrs in this

Re: Setting up first axis step/dir on KFLOP/KANALOG - No 'C'-experience

    Hi Tom

I spent this week making revision on wiring and reading kflop manual

I ask so many questions, the basic thing that confused me was the channel Bit

Now I get some hint from kflop manual pdf
So I connect CH0 on Kanalog JP11 pin 0 , CH1 JP11 Pin 1 in sequence. It should be like this

If it is wrong I hope you correct me

And I make correction in my wiring encoder connection

    I connect A & B on JP 1 and Z on JP 2

Then first I load KanaloginitialPID.mot on configuration screen and select CH0 and I go to step response screen set CH 0 ( when I select on configuration screen it set automatically CH0 on step response screen) then when I press move CH0 it did then I have saw the encoder is counting

Then I open again configuration screen set CH1 and open step response screen

But when I click on move CH 1 didn't move CH 0 did

Then I did the same thing on CH2
The result was the same servo that I connect JP11 ( CH0 ) is moving

The other thing is I get the bit no for JP 2 in the manual ( 152 -159 ) what about JP 1 ?
