    Post Programing Okuma LB35 2

I want to try to program a thread mill on a Okuma lb3II-M. This machine does not have "Y" axis. So I would like to see if anybody out there knows if I can use "X,Z & C" to do so.Programer at work say's the Mastercam software doesn't show any option to do so.

hy yup, is possible, as long as thread axis is paralel to z axis; there are 2 methods, spindle being in :
    ... c axis mode
    ...... or
... rpm, normal s axis; works only for threads located at x0, thus in the middle of the part
