    LT15 OSP7000L Can't get a program to run alarm 2477-01

    Hello,

    We've aquired this machine and would consider ourselves beginners on lathes/Okuma controls as a whole. I've got every book with the machine and thought I'd created an extremely basic program to see it do something but I'm mistaken with this alarm code. I've attached a picture of the program and alarm in hopes someone makes me feel like the newbie I am and offers an easy fix. I have no sample programs in the machine to base anything off of but did see it run programs before we shipped it here. Appreciate any help!

    First find out what G110 is doing ? Someone has created that in a Sub program file ?-----------I will be in the Macro screen as G110 and linked to a program ?
    This is a 4 axis lathe with two turrets like the LU15 Was ?
    Dont need G18 not that i remeber

    Many yrs ago i worked on Cadets/Crwons/MX40/50 and Someother ones but been a while lol

    G110 is for engaging your C axis.

    First things first… you need to tell it which spindle you are working with. G140 for main or G 141 for sub.

    Do you have the manual for sub spindles for that machine?

    Isn't M110 for C axis engage, With M109 for disengage?
    Been a looooooong time since I worked on a machine with live tooling.

    Which turret with which spindle is running. You have to write these commands in first rows.

    Oops! You are correct… the M vs G didn’t even register!

    I think G 110 and G111 are for which spindle G96 is active on if I remember correctly.
    Experience is what you get just after you needed it.

    Yep, G110 is prioritising the upper turret when using constant surface speed, G111 is the Lower turrent priority.
