For some reason my contours all look good across the middle when I simulate, but you can see here with my stock turned on the edges of the X-axis are missed completely.

I'm new to CAM in Fusion 360, so I expect I'm missing something obvious.

Play with Setup settings: is it set cutting outside stock?.
Can be a little trial and error finding your ideal setup.

Are you highlighting the cutting area or just the line?.

If trying to cut the recess out you want to select the inner step rather than the stock edge.

For edge recesses I normally use slotting with ramping rather than contour.

I have the edges selected for all of the slots, and they all cut correctly except for the edges. I guess I could add those edge 'rabbets' as a slotting operation?

Are you viewing the part,rather than the stock?I know nothing of Fusion CAM but the other systems I have used allow you to specify a stock model that is a little larger than the actual part model and this allows you to view the excess material being removed when you run the simulation.

Look at the heights tabs as well.
If you want to skim an edge at full depth you need to tell it that for the particular operation.
Also the "stock top" "model top" "stock bottom" "model bottom" select boxes have dumb defaults and messes heights up relative to cut depth.

I added facing operations for just the edges. Had to make them separate because I guess you can't choose 'from other side' on 1 face and not the second.
