Hello Internet Machine!

I have recently shoved a vintage 1999 Daewoo Lynx 200 into the garage as my first CNC lathe. It's been wired up, buck boosted the voltage down to 215V and running off the American Rotary phase converter just like the Haas VF2.

Upon startup, I am immediately plagued with two alarms:
414 Servo Alarm X Axis Detect.
414 Servo Alarm Z Axis Detect.

If I hit the blue alarm reset button I get the following:
"Release the emergency button and limit switch for Over travel check"

The E-stop is disengaged, not sure what to do about limit switch check?

The machine ready button will not light up if pressed and all of the drives in the electrical cabinet are clearly stating "Not Ready" status. Machine will not jog, spin, move, etc.

Is it possible that I missed something during installation or have a faulty startup procedure other than during on the electrical cabinet and hitting the on button ?

This machine is completely new to me, feel free to state the obvious

I should have added, It's a Fanuc 21T Control.

Within the electrical cabinet, Servo Amplifier Module A06B-6079-H208 is showing Alarm Code (#2).

Hold the Blue and EMG relase in same time and see if the alams go off ?----If so good chance you are in overtravel and need to move the axis off over the switches

Holding down the EMG and Blue buttons did not produce anything.

Holding down the Machine Ready and Blue button temporarily turns on the hydraulic power unit.

The Fanuc power supply module is not getting power, it's being interrupted at the KM10 breaker. I suspect the machine controller is not sending the signal to KM10 for unknown reasons.

Check for blown fuses.
Also, make sure none of those push button breakers are popped.

Getting the Hydraulic on is a good step and with the selector in manual can you move the axis away from home ?----------Holding them two buttons any other messages showing up ?

alarm 2 is due to the servo amplifier drive A06b-6079-h208.This is due to the control card problem inside the servo amplifier.

The Alarm 2 code happens immediately after the main breaker is turned on. The power supply module is supplying 23.9V to the servo amplifier.

When I spoke to Fanuc, they are also suggesting the servo amplifier drive is bad. I have pulled the servo amplifier drive (PN A20B-2001-0933) off for inspection.

Finally, a good update.

I swapped out the power electronics board within the servo amplifier for an ebay special, upon startup my #2 Alarm on the Servo Amp went away.

I still had an emergency alarm on startup, but this was solved by jumping SL1A (Barfeeder Estop circuit) and the machine is up and running.
