    Retro fitting old machine need gear ratio

    I’m retrofitting an old belt driven router and am a little confused about the gear ratio. Input 15 teeth to 35 teeth with 15 on same output to another 35

    To me that is 4.666:1.
    You can always turn the top gear until one revolution of the bottom gear and count the top turns required.
