Has anyone been able to get a copy of the robot software for testing ??? I was told NO NO NO (;-)

Rule #1 NEVER buy anything that you cannot test first hand FIRST.

Not many robotic arms run on Gcode most have their own lanuage.

Python is the bot language for most all of them. Or so I read on ros developers sites

Vmax, have you tried the virtual PathPilot robot edition on hub.pathpilot.com?
You can move a "robot" around, check out the conversational programming and so on.
There are a bunch of PathPilot quick tips, for the robot, on YouTube as well.
