Hyundai SKT21 LMS Lathe Q Setter enable

Hello, I recently purchased a 2006 Hyundai lathe with a Q setter, Fanuc controlled. The previous shop never used setters so apparently it's be disabled. I assume this is done through a parameter setting, but I've had zero luck figuring out how to turn it back on. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It should be done through your keep relays. Which model of lathe do you have? They have different layouts for each model.

This should help you out. I think you're after D7.7 in your case.

    Best regards,

Please let me know how it goes!

It is a system data bit setting. Should be located in same area as keep relays under system button.

It looks like the Data sheet you posted might be for a newer controller. Mine says "Fanuc i Series" and the data bits aren't matching up to what you posted. Dan

Well, they do have a different version, but I'm not so sure it will work for your machine. Here is a copy for your reference:

Those settings match what I have. I've gone in and changed D8.1 to 1. Is there anything else beyond that I should look for?

This is the alarm I get when I press the Auto Q-Setter button. The light on the proximity sensor turns on and off when I manually move the setter up and down, so I assume the sensor is good.... Not sure what could be going on.
