    Spindle will not increase RPM

    Hello everyone. I need some help. My spindle will not come up to speed. It turns on but will not increase rpm’s. Using Mach 4 software. On the screen it shows the RPM change. But the spindle speed doesn’t change. It worked fine 4 days ago. If you would please let me know your thoughts on this. Thank you

    Check the 0-10v output from the Breakout Board to the VFD Drive is working if it is, then there will be some Parameters to change in the Drive

    This is what I found. From what I can figure out the red and black wire are my single 0-10v wires. With the spindle running I’m getting .18 volts. If I adjust the RPM on mach4. I’m still getting the same reading. I have a older machine break board is a CRP550. I have a attached few pictures. Thank you for the help

    Did this work before or is this a new configuration ??

    If there is no output at the board level, it is either a software configuration problem or the Breakout Board

    So it looks like the Board PWM to 0-10v Analog output must of failed see if you can run the spindle from the VFD Drive KeyPad you will have to change a Parameter to do this so the Drive is in KeyPad control and not remote control, what VFD Drive do you have

    To use the KeyPad to control the VFD you will need to change these (2) Parameters

    02.00=0 (1 For Remote Control)
    02.01=0 (1 For Remote Control)

    Just check these (3) Parameters are set at your maximum and minimum Spindle Hz Rating

    02.11=400
    02.12=400
    01.05=100
