The controller was purchased as a spare part and did not participate in the operation of the equipment, that is, it has a new condition.
In the failure of the previous controller, I tried to use MK2 / 4, but the CNC USB Conrroller software offers "Please upgrade firmware to version 20141103" and then "Firmware update FAILED! (Unknownl)".

The controller did not work all this time and the possibility of its failure is minimal.

I don't think TNG works with anything other than 3 series boards.

I have the same issue, upgraded my Mill and downloaded new software and when I plug it in, it says to update the firmware.
I say ok it does something and then says firmware update failed unknown reason (1)
I’ve tried everything I can find online but no luck, how do I do this as I don’t want to buy a new controller when I haven’t even bin able to use this one since I bought it
