We have a cincinnati 175bx10 in our shop and through maintenance discovered one of the guide plate that sandwhiches the ram guide is broken and has part way worked itself out of the ram guide gap. It has been operating for an unknown amount of time this way and the machined surfaces of the guide do not appear damaged, but does anyone know if this is a typical repair and what it entails? At first glance it would appear to access the plate would require ram removal. Any experience with this? Can post pictures. Thx.
