Support for Raspberry Pi alternatives like Orange Pi 3 LTS

    Hi,
Is there any chance that PlanetCNC software will be available for competitors to Raspberry Pi's? For example Orange Pi 3 LTS, Odroid, etc?

I ask as sourcing a Raspberry Pi 4 has been impossible for a long time and it does not appear to be improving anytime soon.

Currently, the PlanetCNC Raspberry Pi release does not work on the H6 processor of my Orange Pi 3 LTS SBC. The PlanetCNC Linux release it compiled for Intel x64 processors so that does not work either.

I would like to switch my setup to a SBC rather than an old creaky windows laptop.

    Thank you.

We made version for Odroid-N2 a year ado. In theory it should be faster that RPi but it worked very slow and was unreliable.
Operating system for RPi is heavily optimized and it works much better that generic OS versions that are used by competitors.

If you think that OrangePi might perform well I might give it another try.
