    Talking Rutex 510A

    Anybody used this yet?

Looks to be an all in one driver for both axis and torch height controller.

    Any comments, good bad?

Any other solutions that have worked for people when building and using a plasma cutter?

I have this contorling board but have never tryed it yet. Yes it has auto torch height control and also will control your plasma after it is wired into the torch. Turning it on and off. and sencing arc voltage well worth the money and the p cut software comes with it.

I just designed and built my CNC plasma table with the R510B. Table is working but I have some concerns with the driving software (I am using a demo of Steelcut- the guys who developed it are out of business). So far, the table is not able to draw perfect circles. I have attached a pen to the z axis to check the table accuracy. Rutex offer Pcut, which is Dos based and not user friendly. Will post pictures soon.

I have also used the 510b and the hardware is good but the software (pcut)
needs help and is limited to 1000 blocks. They are coming out with new software that is for ( steelcut?) windows but I do not know when. When they get the software as good as the hardware I think it will be a good controller.

    Have fun building

J'utilise steelcut pour tester ma table. La carte R510B est un bon produit mais il faut un meilleur software qui marche sur windows. La carte est facile a connecter et je pourrai t'envoyer mon diagramme de connection.

Here are some pics of my cnc table using Rutex R510B. For now I have some trouble with tuning the motors. I am not able to draw circles with my setting (see picture). I will need more help if I cannot set it up correctly.
