    Swapping sides for cables

Ordered a new pro 4848 and would like to have the cables on the left rather than the right. Is that doable right out the box so to speak or would some machining be required ?

I think you should be ok, there is usually extra length in the cables. You will probably need to mount the control and spindle box on the other side as well. If you mount them on the outside of the frame, the switches will be facing away from you.

Yep, put them on the side you want. The beauty of the DIY CNC Machines

No machining or alterations required, btw. The machine is symmetrical for the most part so even the cable lengths shouldn't be an issue. Especially on a machine that small.

Always check with the factory though to clear it with them.
