    USB MPG Pendant Connection

I have a CNCEST 6040 and want to get an MPG for it. The thing is that I am clueless about how it's supposed to be connected. Do they connect directly to the controller or through the computer running it?

That's why I'm asking for help before purchasing one.

Also, I would appreciate suggestions for pendants. My machine is 4 axis and I'm going to stick with Mach3 to run it. Must be a USB connection.
