Re: DIY UHPC 7 Tonne CNC Bridge Mill

Hi Sus - The addition of blue metal usually improves the modulus and compressive strength. I expect you would be able to cast in greater thickness then 100mm as your parts are small. You are not casting tonnes in terms of floor slabs and runways etc. But a gravel addition is good in terms of stiffness. Peter

Thaks Pete. Since I have lab facilities as well, I can get few samples tested.

Also appreciate if you could take a look at the datasheet https://www.chryso.lk/p/8921/3/5636/en and let me know if you see any issues with this product. This product looks like the closest one I will be able to source locally.

    Thanks
    Sus

Hi Sus - Thats very encouraging. E47 is very good out of the bag. So if the price is good use E47 and start detailing Peter

ask them what the typical YM is. The 47 is probably a statistically low value like 2xSD below average or something. They will know the average, say E50.

They said the quoted values are lower than the actuals. For this they are saying more than 55 can be expected.

The price is very reasonable @0.64USD per Kg. Even without mixing aggregates, the cost for my frame would be low. TDS says upto 70% aggregates is possible. I can get some samples tested with different ratios.
They confirmed that the grade of the grout is A. Do you think this is OK?
