    Hypertherm Powermax 1000 G3

I'm looking to set up my home shop as a hobby shop. I am.looking to purchase a mid range CNC plasma cutting system. Many systems I see are using the Hypertherm 45.I currently have a Hypertherm Powermax 1000 G3 that does have a machine interface port on the back, and I have used it many times with my machinetorch. It has about 5 active ports. I purchased this in 2006 and it still operates like brand machine torch.. I recently found out I can purchase fine cut consumables for this machine. I've contacted my.local welding supplier/Hypertherm dealer to find out if my machine is capable of being used on a CNC with torch height control. After several attempts to get an answer from them, I still have no resolution to this problem. Can anyone here give me an answer? Thanks for any help

Yes, you will have no problems with fine cut in your machine torch and you will find the componets will last longer with THC
Use the hypertherm fine cuts chart as a guide line to get started and adjust to your needs, 1000 G3 a great plasma generator.
