I have a CNC router with a twelve position tool carousel and a dust hood. It seems to me that the dust hood can only be activated with certain tools, however, I'm not sure and I don't know how to check. I've tried through g-code and manually with the buttons. Any help is appreciated.

Is there a database that allows or disallows functions based on tools? If so, where would I look for it?

it should be have setup in system ,is your system Syntec . each factory have differnt m code to control dust hood up down .

It's Fanuc. We have M93 down, M94 long down, M95 up.
It looks like the dust hood will only activate with certain tools. I would like to be able to change that.
I don't know where that would be. There must be a list or something.
