    M axis orient function

    Hi

    Has anyone ever used this function on a c-axis machine?
    I don't understand how it is work!!

    Typically it is used for a boring operation so that you can retract without dragging your boring bar. Orient, shift away from orientation, retract.
    Experience is what you get just after you needed it.
