    No Control Power?

    Good morning,

We have a Fadal 15xt, 3 phase power is good. 120v is good. Fans turn on upon starting as does the interior lights

No PLC power or monitor though. I'm suspecting DC power supply is gone but thought I would throw this issue out there while I start the troubleshooting process

    Any thoughts?

sounds like a relay might be bad or a fuse.

go here and check the relays

check voltage to make sure you even have power to the pendant.

    Re: No Control Power?

Quick update, the power supply was bad. I was able to get that replaced but I now I have no lights on the main processor board (1400-5c) and upon trying to change the speed it turns at max revs!

The unit seems to work well until we try and do a tool change, when we start the tool change the spindle just keeps ramping up faster and faster until we hit the e stop.

I've never noticed, but should the main processor board (slot 5) be lit up with the other cards? Is it possible that the power supply blew if the board failed?

Good morning, can anyone confirm that the main board (slot 5) should at least power up upon starting with the other boards? I could always order another board if needed
