Hello World

I am using carousel lathe with OSP S300 and I am having problems with milling operations.

Sometimes machine makes weird toolpath, only with milling operations.

it happens only when I am tring to make a hole or axel but it doesnt make pefect circle. Hole or axel being oval.


I am using mastercama to make program...I can NOT program manuel on the machine.

Machine is never bin crashed (was serviced a mount ago)

lathe works fine.

You need to supply better/more info...
The CNC code...
What the machine did...
What it was meant to do...
.... it could be operator error, programmer error,or even a post processor not written correctly.

... it may need to be put into the Mastercam forum... or approach the post creator to get proper programming instructions (or post correction)

I was programming toolpath in MasterCam it sould do circle...it did but I not god one. Measurment shows +0,12 -0,08....

I work on this machine for last year and I did dicover some problems with postprocessor...

No one can see your problem
... a circle huh... what plane ?
Did the machine do what the NC code told it to do ?
If it did, then it is a programming, or post issue.

More than likely a problem with how it is programmed ?
Is it a dedicated post processor, customised to that machine?

The code AND a pic would be a good start.

The program is should do 20 mm circle and it doesn't

VTR-350A is special lathe machine and it doesn't work as usual lathe.


Anyway we contacted reseller (machine is not old, 2016 or 17) and they don't know the answer.

For the sharing the file/code.

I am not allowed to do that. I can take it but if it comes out, I can be fired in best case.


I draw little circle what machine does and it clearly sees in code L10.

I got back to another machine with Heidenhain system.
