I have a problem with my 1984 Okuma LB10. When I turn the control on it acts like its booting up, shows the normal TEST routine 6-8 lines of text, then suddenly a bunch of 0's all over the screen. They stay on for a few seconds and then the screen goes blank. Has anybody had and solved this problem? Any help is very much appreciated.

Just a wild guess but that sounds like a memory test. Perhaps check memory chips especially if they are in sockets

Do You have a spare CRP board? I would try to change it and look for result. As previously mentioned- a photo of startup screen would be helpful.
