Need to move my rennishaw tool touch probe to the other side of the table in order to fit 4th axis. Is this a big deal or easy? Should I move the reciever over also?
thanks,
joev

As far as I know there should be no problem. I believe there are 2 places to setup the tool touch probe, one on the left of the table and one on the right side of the table. Look in the reinishaw book or call you Haas guy.

Once I had to take it off the machine and the put it back on.
Not a big deal if still have booklet that comes with the tool probe.
Actually the calibration macros in the machine is all you need.
Tool probe is not connected to the receiver at all(this thing works only with OMP40 probe).
If you have any problems you can call Renishaw tech support.
Good luck.
There should be no issue moving it. You don't need to move the reciever. You just need to re-calibrate the table probe. Make sure that you don't mount it to close to the edge, or you might be at the end of your table travel during some probing programs (tool diameters, etc.)
I'm assuming that its a wired table probe, and not the wireless. If it happens to be a wireless unit just be aware of the signal receiver/transmitter on the right side has a clear path to the OMI.
