Hello,
I am receiving alarm messages on lathe Colchester tornado 110:
made in 1997,
GE Fanuc 21i-T
437 X AXIS: CNV. OVERCURRENT POWER
465 X AXIS: READ ID DATA FAILED
437 Z AXIS: CNV. OVERCURRENT POWER
465 Z AXIS: READ ID DATA FAILED
7130 SPN 1 : OVERLOAD POW CIRCUIT
These alarms occur on startup of lathe, before pressing green button which starts motors and hydraulic pump.
I am also receiving:
1007 SPINDLE SPEED MONITOR ALARM
This occur at random times after lathe startup.
Alarm existed before i got first 5 alarms.
First 5 alarms occurred after i tried to get rid of alarm 1007, by procedure suggested on this thread:
https://www.cnczone.com/forums/fanuc...t-problem.html
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 switch off the main power
2 in your spindle speed board there is 2 jumper
Remove the first one from left and fix it on right
3Press and hold on the black button. You can find it down the jumpers
4 switch on tge main power
5 the small monitor will show some numbers
6 still holding on the black button till you see 3600 on the monitor
7 remove your hand from the bottom
8 you must be see one red led is on and of aging
9 switch off the main power
10 return the first jumper from the right to the left
11 switch on the nain power
12 you must see 3600 on your monitor
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Before i started procedure, machine was working fine with exception of 1007 alarm.
Also i couldn't get over step number 6. Since holding button didn't do nothing.
Also modules show alarms:
Power supply module alarm 1,
spindle amplifier module alarm 30,
Servo amplifier module "-" (not ready)
Not sure if these alarms are consequence of trying to get rid of 1007 alarm or something else, but timing matches perfectly.
In the end even after following mentioned procedure alarm 1007 still occurs randomly after some time.
The board (i assume that is used for spindle speed monitoring) shows numbers: 8080, and sometimes 8880.
It also seems that LCD on board is having some glitches.
Please for any information on or suggestion on how to solve this.
Thank you, best regards
