Fanuc A06B-6102-H222 showing AL-34 Parameter Set Abnormal Alarm

We were in the middle of running parts on our 2006 Fanuc O-T Control Femco CNC Lathe when it shut down with an AL-34 PARAMETER SETTING ABNORMAL alarm.

No one was changing any Parameters on the machine, it was running bar-feeder parts at the time and had made 150+ parts on this job before the error came up mid-cycle.

We are located in a remote area of the USA, and there's no local service people to come have a look at it.
We tried disconnecting the main power, waiting a few hours and restarting it, but as soon as the O-T Control screen comes on, the error comes up.

Any idea where to start to diagnose this error and get back to making parts?

"Correct a parameter value according to FANUC AC SPINDLE MOTOR ?i series PARAMETER MANUAL (B-65280EN). If the parameter number is unknown, connect the spindle check board, and check the indicated parameter".

It appears you may have a corrupt parameter or parameters. Check spindle parameters and edit against your back up or hard copy. Set PWE = 1 to edit or you may need a programming device however.

You could try power off and hold P and Cancel during power on, making sure axis are mid position so reference return will be ok.

    Thanks for the information!
It was corrupt parameters in the OT Control itself, most likely due to low batteries.
I put new batteries in, found a copy of the "As-Built" parameters and hand typed them in and it's back up running!
