This used to come with FeatureCam back in 1995 !!

    Please let me know...

    Thanks Chips

I still have my version 9 and all the way over to the right up top is the lonely help icon. What I remember about V-8, it should be set-up the same. Worst come to worst, stock up on your ink and start printing. Sorry, wish I could help you more then that.

    "..What happened to customer support?.."

    Two words - planned obsolescence

It would appear that the question is rhetorical as opposed to being literal. For some reason, the software companies do not want to support their old software. Unlike in the automotive service business where service sales ultimately is a very good and profitable business, it seems that the computer software people seem to think that the only way they can make money is to sell new software.

One would think that "legacy" service (manuals, disks, whatever) would simply be 'free money" - after all, once you make a PDF or a CDROM, you can digitally copy stuff for pennies - and sell it for dollars. Then, however, if people keep using the "old stuff", they sort of run out of a market for their new bloatware stuff.

Whatever happened to service? It went the way of TV and radio repair people once we turned into a use and toss it society..

    I sorry to hear that.
You see V’s 7 & 8 were produced when EZ Cam started their transition away from the older format (which I still like a lot) V-6. 7 & 8 were pretty much still in the developement stages. But by V-9 it had became more sophisticated. All the later versions produced all pretty much have to look & feel of version 9. I do know somebody that had V-8 but we haven’t talked in 10 years. All I can suggest is if you cant find a version 8 copy & you don't have the "help" icon on your screen after firing the software up, then version 7 would probably be your best bet.
