    Fanuc 0-T parameters

Wondering if anybody can help me with a major problem I am having with a Hwacheon HIECO 21-HS machine with fanuc 0-T controls. Unfortunately during installation the parameters got wiped. I entered all the parameters from the book in the panel but having a problem with one page, which I imagine are the manufacturers parameters.

They are listed as DGN, and go from NO0300 to 0508, but can not be entered on the "normal" parameter page. Anyhelp would be much appreciated and may also keep me in my job!

    Cheers,

This is the Timer & counter values.

This is the Timer & counter values. Enter these values in Diagnostic (DIAG. page) No 300 to 508.
    Tell me if work.

    Thanks for the reply.

When I try entering the first value (6000) in parameter 300 it changes it to 255.

    {Param. 19 bit#7 discription = When the diagnostic screen is displayed,timer and counter data are dislayed in binary/decimal(0/1)}

Thank you for the reply again.

Unfortunately tried this but no change. Seems like the maximum value I can enter in any of these values is 255.

I am correct in entering these values on the normal parameters screen?

    Cheers again,

    Hello again,

Have tried entering these on the diagnostic screen on DGN0300 and when I input the values they stay at zero.

Have changed bit 7 on parameter 19 and I can confirm these DGN values now appear in decimal.

    Any more help greatly appreciated.

Have you tried inputting ALL the diags from 300 to 508? And NONE of them work?

I have tried all the values as suggested and none of them work. I have made sure they are decimal values and pwe is enabled.

    Help!

Edit key enabled, PWE enabled, you must be in MDI (not edit).
If you've tried all that then I'm still scratching my head.

Doh! I forgot to put the memory key to 1. Entered all the values.

Machine now displays overtravel alarms before making the overtravel switches. Any idea what this could be?

    Thanks for the help!

I think if you hold in [P] and [CANCEL] while powering up the control, it allows you to home to the switches (erases stored positions).

Definitely light and end of the tunnel now! All zero returned now and looking like I may still have a job on monday!

Last problem remaining is alarm 100 p/s alarm. Don't have manuals for the machine so don't know what this is! Is it the lubrication system alarm?

    Cheers again folks!

Here we go again, I thought everything was okay and now found yet another problem!

When setting the spindle running under mdi at say a spindle speed of 100, the actual spindle speed displayed is 50. Seems that it is running at half speed.

    Any help greatly appreciated again!

    Cheers,

Is the spindle running at half the commanded speed or is your screen just telling you that? What about at 1000 RPM? 2500 RPM?
