    VFD YL620-A P00.06 Highest output voltage ??

    Hi..

    I want to connect a BLDC bodine 34B6FEBL to a VFD YL620-A
    https://www.bodine-electric.com/prod...dc-motor/3409/

    The motor is 130 volt.
The input voltage on the YL620-A is 220 Volt.

    Can this setting:

    P00.06 Highest Output Voltage 10.0% - 150.0 %

be used to set the output of the YL620-A to 130 volt ??

    How does this work ?

Is this how to do it ?

    ( 130 / 220 ) * 100 = 59

    SET P00.06 59 ???

    Attachment 488528

Any other suggestions on how to make this work ?

    Thanks.. Vroemm...

That VFD Drive or any VFD Drive is going to have a very hard time driving a BLDC motor, these VFD Drives are only for 3 Phase AC motors not for DC motor you have.

You would need a Drive like this to make it work / run.

Thank you very much. Very useful.

The driver you mentioned is hard to get and very expensive.

I tried to find a cheaper BLDC controler.

    But found none.

    Am i overlooking something ?

An arduino BLDC controler suitable for this motor or something ?

Are there BLDC controlers which work with lots of different BLDC motors ?

Here is some links I'm sure there are many suppliers, Check on Ebay as well.

A lot depends on how that motor expects to be commutated, IOW, does it have three commutation sensors or is there just the three 3ph motor leads?
If it has sensors then you can look at some of the used servo motor controllers from A-M-C etc and run it open loop.
If no sensors then you require a drive that is capable of self commuted operation.
