New to us Doosan VC 430 has a new issue. APC table will not clamp. Table is not descending low enough to touch microswitches that confirm clamp position. Switches are working. Service tech visit is at least a week out. Any assistance would be appreciated.

New to us Doosan VC 430 has a new issue. APC table will not clamp. Table is not descending low enough to touch microswitches that confirm clamp position. Switches are working. Service tech visit is at least a week out. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Is this a twin swivel type pallet changer? If it is, check the pallet lift carrier switches, also the lifting wedge on the pallet is properly engaged. Could be jammed with chips (swarf). Check the lower carrier end stop adjustment, bolt may be loose.

But first, use manual functions to swivel half way and clean under the pallets with a wash gun.
