    Question Mazatrol M640 Fusion

I am trying to transfer all the machine settings from the M640 onto a floppy disk, so that I can import that info into some machining software.

    Any ideas?

What software are you planning to use these machine settings in?

Can't you use the data I/O to save to the floppy?

    CamWare

Simply use the cable to the Rs232 port and attach computer to the machine.
When you are setting up the machine in camware click the machine button and the software will tell you you are allowed to load Tool Data User Parameters etc set the machine up to download these and push the start button.Alternatively save these to floppy and use the 640 floppy button instead of the machine button this will work as well

The best way to learn is trial error.
