    Centurion 6 Sudden Stop

Does anyone know why my Centurion 6 will suddenly stop running during a program? The timer is still active and counting. It might occur after 15 minutes, or eight hours. I can't predict it.

To get it running, I have to restart it and rehome it.

I appreciate any help that you might have.

The only thing I could suggest, is to open the card cage and verify the cpu fan is running. I have had similar problems on one. I replaced a dead CPU fan on the mother board a few years back, and no problems since.

I Was Told By Milltronics To Check The 24 Volt Power Supply While The Machine Is In The Locked Control Condition, With Out Powering Down, If It Has 22 Or So Volts The Control Will Act Up. My Lathe Will Lock Sometimes 3 Times In One Day And Some Times 3 Weeks Between But It Is Always On A Hot Day. I Was Going To Rig Up An Analog Volt Meter To Moniter The Voltage And Then See What Happens.

I had a memory chip come out of mine, only half of it was engaged in the slot. It would run fine and then stop for no reason but the spindle would stay running.
