    DMU 60 e problem with UV 130?

    Hi,

I have a DMU 60, and I can not start the machine up anymore...

I heard a loud noise and the fuse jumped to off.

I restarted but again loud noise and fuse off.

If I checked from where the noise came, i found out that the noise came from UV130 (Power supply).
Are there people who have experience with this?

    kind regards pedro

There could be a short pulling down the power supply, remove the output cable and see if power supply powers on. Unfortunately, some won't power up without a load, so you may need to trouble shoot the outputs for a short circuit first. If there is no short, replace the power supply.

    how can I check?

I took off the metal plates that give the power to the other drives on top of the power supply, but short circuit happens still...

If there is no external connection other than the supply voltage and there is still a short circuit, I would remove the UV130 and send it to an appropriate electronics shop for test / repair.

    Google for a local company.

But, be aware that one of the drives or motors could be defective and damaged the power supply.

Check drives, motors and cables for a short.

    Hi Servtech,

I went to local electronic shop for test.
There was damage to spindle drive and power supply.
    I mounted everything back together.
Power supply shows red lights (power fail and nc reset)

I can not start up machine because invalid machine parameters...
