If you got your board from cnc4pc download the manual and schematic they are all available
I have a problem with the IMach3 pendant. I've tried plugging it in several USB ports but it still seems to conflict with the USB 485 for my VFD. When the pendant is plugged in and I start Mach3 I get an error stating VFD can't connect. Has anyone come across this before?
Presumably the pendant and RS-485 devices are installed as USB serial devices on the computer.
Check if the USB serial port assigned Com port number for the RS-485 adapter has not changed.
You can check that in the PC devices tab.

I can see the port that the USB 485 for the spindle is but the iMach3 pendant doesn't show a port number. I've looked in the device manager and there is no port that is showing up for the iMach3 pendant and when you go into Mach3 to configure it there is no place to assign it a port#. I gave the the 458 a different port number and I can get it to work thinking pendant was trying to use that port# by default but when I plug the pendant back in I get the same problem that the VFD can't see the port anymore.
Hi,
The iMach pendant may be installing as a HID (human interface device), but it should be visible somewhere in the list of installed devices. That said it probably won’t help solve your problem.
It may be that the plugin for the iMach is interfering with the Modbus functionality.
Have you contacted the iMach people? They should be able to shed some light on what may be going on.
Cheers
Peter.
